Microunits

We believe that the future of renewable energies is in small distributed generation to use biomass at the place of production (zero-kilometer faciliies), avoiding unnecessary and costly transportation that is often impactful on the road system. The result is a plant that is more sustainable both economically and environmentally.

ASAC technology is easily scalable and economically viable even for small unit. At last, even the small farmer can realize his biomethane plant by using zero-kilometer biomass. Moreover, even a small community can realize its own FORSU or domestic sewage treatment plant without having to deliver waste to large treatment centers.

Facilities built with ASAC’s patented technology are very small in size, well inserted in the landscape and absolutely sustainable. In addition, during the upgrading process the biogas/biomethane is kept at ambient pressure at all times and thus can be released to local gas networks without the need for compression with a significant advantage in terms of self-consumption. In addition, biomethane can be released by means of transport such as tank wagons in areas not covered by the main distribution grid, or it can be used directly on site.
